TRAVEL DIARY - San Benedetto del Tronto, Italy

Italy is definitely one of my favourite places in the world. Visited many times and many different places but San Benedetto del Tronto has a special place in my heart.

It's actually the first holiday vacation that Vojta & me visited together back in summer 2017 when we've been dating for just like a month. It's also the first sea side that our daughter Vanessa visited back in July 2023 when she was 1 year old (and this year when she was 2 as well).

 This lovely sea side city is located in Marche, Italy and is about 1.100km away from the place where we live so it's a nice long night/morning journey.

This place has everything you need - beaches, palm trees, places to take walks, nature, city life, shops, street markets, restaurants with delicious pizza, etc.

Actually, when we are there we cook our food and buy ingredients in local supermarket - Elite and one evening we will go to the local restaurant to have the real italian pizza :-)

Speaking of exploring the city...

This place is somehow magic  and mysterious - it's located in a huge park which is sadly closed for the tourists and it's called Torre Guelfa (the tower) and villa Laureanti (the building).
